  1. Tap Download APK and open the file when it finishes.
  2. If Android asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps, then go back and tap Install.
  3. Open Mafia. Allow notifications and nearby devices when you host.

How to install (needs a Mac or PC)
  1. On your computer, install Sideloadly (or AltStore) and download Mafia.ipa.
  2. Connect your iPhone with a cable, drop Mafia.ipa into Sideloadly and sign in with your Apple ID. A free Apple ID works.
  3. On the iPhone: Settings › General › VPN & Device Management › trust your Apple ID. On iOS 16 or newer, also turn on Settings › Privacy & Security › Developer Mode.
  4. Open Mafia and allow Local Network when asked.

With a free Apple ID the app stops opening after 7 days. Sideload it again (AltStore can renew it automatically). No computer? Join any game from Safari below.

Join in the browser

Play in the browser, no app needed. The game runs on the host's iPhone.

How to join

  1. Connect to the same Wi-Fi as the host, or to the host's personal hotspot.
  2. On the host's iPhone, find the Address under Room in the lobby, for example 192.168.1.23:47777.
  3. Type it above and tap Join. Or skip all this and scan the host's QR code with your camera.

Hosting

Hosting needs the Mafia app. Everyone else can join with the app or from this page, on any phone.
